Shunt capacitor is used mainly for raising power factor of power system.

Technical performance
1. Equivalent adopting international standards IEC871-1.
2. Ambient air temperature range: -10°C to +40°C Altitude: not exceeding 1,000m.
3. Capacitors capacitance deviation may not exceed –5% ~ 18% of rated value.
4.Under power frequency rated voltage and when at 20°C, capacitors loss angle tangent value : no larger than 0.0005.
5. Capacitor is able to operate for a long period of time under highest value of operating voltage lower than 1.1-fold capacitor rated voltage.
6. Capacitor is allowed to operate over a long period time under less than 1.3 times capacitor rated current as a result of rise in voltage and high harmonic stress.
